A Dead Cells save file converter
This should work from any source platform to any destination platform. You will be sent back to the Prisoners’ Quarters (some of the run data is not compatible between platforms), but your overall progress/unlocks will be kept.
This tool requires two files to work:
*preferably an empty save file, since it’s going to be overwritten: pick an empty save slot, start a run, and quit once you’ve possessed the body.
Based on N3rdL0rd’s savetool. See the Save Files page on ModDocCE for more details.
Save files are named user_X.dat, with X being a number between 0 and 6 corresponding to the save slot in game.
| Filename | Save slot |
|---|---|
| user_0.dat | Slot 1 |
| user_1.dat | Slot 2 |
| user_2.dat | Slot 3 |
| user_3.dat | Slot 4 |
| user_4.dat | Slot 5 |
| user_5.dat | Slot 6 |
| user_6.dat | Slot 7 |
Check in the Gameplay section of the game settings if Steam Cloud synchronization is active.
In the Steam Library, right-click Dead Cells → Manage → Browse local files.
According to the internet, from your Program Files folder: GOG Galaxy/Games/Dead Cells/save.

According to the internet, the save files are in /data/data/com.playdigious.deadcells.mobile/files/save (not the Android/data folder, the root data folder) for the normal Play version; accessing this folder requires a rooted phone. No idea about the Netflix version.

Original comment; this only allows extracting a save file without jailbreak (if you want to convert from iOS to another platform). I cannot test this, and I cannot give my endorsement of the software used: it’s up to you to research and decide.
